WHAT IS INBODY?

BODY COMPOSITION IS A METHOD OF BREAKING DOWN THE BODY INTO ITS CORE
COMPONENTS: FAT, PROTEIN, MINERALS, AND BODY WATER. IT DESCRIBES YOUR WEIGHT
MORE ACCURATELY AND PROVIDES A BETTER GLIMPSE INTO YOUR OVERALL HEALTH THAN
TRADITIONAL METHODS. BODY COMPOSITION ANALYSIS CAN ACCURATELY SHOW CHANGES IN FAT MASS, MUSCLE MASS, AND BODY FAT PERCENTAGE.

WHAT DOES INBODY MEASURE?

THE INBODY MEASURES YOUR BODY COMPOSITION IN TERMS OF WATER, PROTEIN, MUSCLE MASS, FAT MASS AND MINERALS. THE DEVICE CAN DETERMINE THE WEIGHT OF LEAN MUSCLE TISSUE IN EACH LIMB AND THE AMOUNT / PERCENTAGE OF BODY FAT.

ANALYSIS SHOULD NOT BE CARRIED OUT AFTER A SHOWER OR THE USE OF A SAUNA AS SWEAT AND HEAT CAN CAUSE A TEMPORARY CHANGE IN CONDUCTIVITY WITHIN THE BODY

WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHING, REMOVING ANY ITEMS WITH METAL ZIPPERS, SNAPS AND FASTENERS.

PLEASE REMOVE ALL JEWELLERY WHERE POSSIBLE TO EFFECTIVELY TRACK AND MONITOR RESULTS, SUBSEQUENT TESTING SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT UNDER SIMILAR CONDITIONS (I.E. SIMILAR CLOTHING, TESTING TIME, BEFORE EATING OR EXERCISING ETC.) AVOID CONTACT AND TALKING WITH THE EXAMINEE DURING TESTING.
